Remote Learning

We’re committed to ensuring our students can continue their education at home. We do this via our remote learning package.

If you're studying at home, you will be able to immediately access our remote learning resources. You will need to follow your normal timetable. Our teaching teams will set tasks and review work via Google Classroom.

Each day we would like you to:

  1. Log in to Google Classroom using their school Google account and continue with lessons prepared for the autumn term that are given in their timetable
  2. Make sure they are also logged into Statistics24 to log their attendance
  3. Complete all videos and assessment tasks found within each lesson for that day
  4. Check school email for updates, announcements and changes made to their Google Classroom
  5. Email your teacher for technical support or to report when there has been circumstances where following their timetable has not been possible

If you need support accessing a device or the Internet, please contact us.

Using Statistics24

We monitor attendance via Statistics24. If you are using Google Chrome as your web browser to access remote learning (rather than Safari or Firefox, for example), this system will work automatically when you log in to the Google browser using your school email address before you start any work.

If you do not log in to the browser then you will not be able to register your attendance.

If you cannot use the Google Chrome browser, you will need to download the Statsitics24 plugin. This is secure and easy to do - we’ve shared some guidance below.

Please note that Statistics24 will only work when you are logged into your Google Classroom account - it will not be live when you’re using the computer for other things.
