Form Group and Tutorials
All students at Sir Isaac belong to a form. You’ll find that the students in your form follow the same subjects as you and will be in some of your classes too. This means that you will build good friends and strong support networks in and out of your lessons.
Each week you will have a one-hour tutorial with your form tutor and this is a really valuable part of your education. This will be with the same teacher each week and will consist of learning about study skills, organisation, university and apprenticeship applications. You'll also cover issues beyond school and we'll equip you with an appreciation for the communities and wider-world in which we live.
As part of form time, you will also have a regular one-to-one with your tutor giving you a chance to talk about how you are getting on, your attendance and any concerns you may have.
Meet Our Form Tutors
Mrs Williams: With years of teaching experience in Norwich, I support students through one-to-one chats, careers advice, and engaging form time. I’m a big gamer (Diablo IV is a current favourite), love horror-themed board games like Mysterium, and enjoy classic films like The Thing. I also run the Warhammer elective, all are welcome!
Mrs Greef: As a Form Tutor and Careers Adviser, I help students plan their next steps, whether that's university, an apprenticeship, or work. I also run the Medical Sciences Society, where guest speakers like doctors and pharmacists share career insights. I studied Philosophy and began my career in primary teaching. I believe in following your interests and working hard, you’ll find the path that’s right for you.
Miss Slade: I’m here to support you through your A-level journey, whether that’s answering questions, offering advice, or helping you settle in. I also run Fun Club, a relaxed space to meet others, join activities, and unwind. I love singing (you might hear me humming!) and trying new adventures.
