Entry Requirements for Sept 2026:
To study with us, you will need to achieve, at minimum...
- Six or more GCSEs at grade 5+, including maths
- 4+ in English language
Plus the following subject-specific criteria for the Sir Isaac subjects you choose to study:

GCSE 8+ mathematics Must also choose to study A-level maths. |

Physics |
Higher-tier GCSE physics level 5 or higher tier combined (trilogy) science grades 5,5. GCSE 6+ mathematics Must also choose to study A-level maths. Any students keen to study physics without maths should contact our Director of Science, Mr Watling, in the first instance. |

Psychology |
Higher-tier GCSE biology grade 5, or higher-tier combined (trilogy) science grades 5,5 GCSE 5+ in English language GCSE 6+ in any of history, geography, religious studies, philosophy, psychology, sociology, English literature or English language |

All Jane Austen subjects require GCSE 5+ in both English language and English literature, due to their extended writing content.
