Meet our Wellbeing Dogs

Meet two very special members of the Sir Isaac Newton wellbeing team – our dogs, Lionel and Freddie.

Research shows that interaction with dogs is good for our physical and mental health by helping to reduce blood pressure and releasing chemicals in the brain that have a calming effect. If you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious, spending time with Lionel or Freddie can really help you feel more relaxed.

They both love to spend time with all of our students and will never turn down the chance of a walk. We have found that having dogs around the school has helped students become less nervous, but please do let us know if you are allergic or afraid of dogs and we will make sure that they are kept away from you.
