Deadline for - Podiatry Degree Apprentice
The apprenticeship combines full-time employment with work-based and academic study, which allows you to receive a salary while you are studying.
Once you have obtained your Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatric Medicine you will be entitled to register with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and practice as a Podiatrist.
Teaching will be partially based online, but there will also be a requirement to travel to a partner university for some training.
Work will be supervised by our podiatry team to ensure provision of a high standard of podiatric clinical care. Exposure to a variety of clinical aspects will be provided to develop the relevant knowledge, skills and competencies required by the BSc (Hons) Podiatry programme.
The course is 3 years long, studying 17 core modules, including Podiatric Medicine, Lower Limb Anatomy, Pathology, Musculoskeletal Pathology, Pharmacology, Research & Nail Surgery.
During term time, the week will be split between one online lecture day, one study day and three days in clinic.
On successful completion of the full apprenticeship, the apprentice will have the opportunity of employment as a Podiatrist with Angel Podiatry or one of our sister clinics.

There are minimum entry requirements:
- GCSE minimum grade C/4 (or accepted equivalent) in mathematics and English
- GCSE minimum grade C/4 in a science subject
- Evidence of Level 3 qualifications
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check (which we do)
