Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form student, Olivia Slomkowska, has co-produced a charity fundraising calendar to help raise enough money for a 4 week volunteering trip to Borneo.

Olivia, and her friend from another school, need to raise £4,500 each to take part in the trip next August. The month-long trip, organised by Camps International, involves building and environmental conservation projects on the Southeast Asian island.  Both students are avid divers and spent lockdown creating the underwater calendar to kick off their fundraising.

17 year old Olivia plans to study medicine in the future, but told the edp that she wants to experience a different culture and physically help people first.
